Description
Castor oil has been a revered traditional medicine for over 6,000 years and has deep roots within Chinese and Ayurveda medicine.
Made from the beans of the castor bean-oil plant (Ricinis communis) this amazing remedy has recently made its way back to the spotlight!
Castor oil has traditionally been used as a remedy for treating various skin conditions and infections, relieving constipation, and increasing the health of hair. However, recent studies have now started to show that castor oil can be used to support the immune system, and an anti-inflammatory agent, as antimicrobial agent, and as a lymphatic stimulant.
You can use castor oil in a couple of different ways. Apply it directly to the skin, use it through a castor oil pack, or mix it with other oils to use it as a topical remedy. Orally, add to a beverage or lukewarm water.

Suggested Use
For longer, thicker lashes: Apply the oil before bed to your upper and lower lash line, making sure to thoroughly coat each lash. It is best to apply to the baseline of your eyelashes.
For longer, thicker brows: Apply several drops of oil before bed to your eyebrows coating throughly by brushing in both directions.
For hair growth: Apply castor oil to your scalp and roots using your fingertips. Make sure to distribute it on your scalp evenly. Try to avoid getting the oil into the strands of your hair. Due to its thickness, it can be difficult to remove.
Cover your hair with a plastic shower cap and wrap your head with a towel. Allow the oil to remain on your hair for at least fifteen minutes. For best results, leave in overnight. To remove the castor oil, wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo.
For the best results, repeat the process every week for 6 – 8 weeks.
Moisturize skin & calm redness: Clean your face with your favorite face wash & remove any makeup from your eyes. Apply a few drops of castor oil after warming in your palms at night. Gently massage dry areas & dab off any excess onto a clean towel. Allow this treatment to soak in overnight & rinse well in the morning with warm water.
These methods works best if you apply at night before going to sleep, and remove the oil in the morning with makeup remover or your favorite face wash.
Removing skin tags and moles: When mixed with a little baking soda, castor oil can be an excellent way to get rid of unsightly moles and skin tags. You simply have to apply the paste to the affected area and cover it with a bandage. Doing this daily for 4 – 6 weeks will eliminate the moles and skin tags.
Removing corns: Corns on your feet can be painful and irritating. The hydrating abilities of castor oil can help to remove them. To treat corns, soak your feet in warm water for about fifteen minutes. Dry your feet and apply castor oil to the corn. After about ten days of treatment, you should be able to peel the corns away easily.
Lymphatic stimulant and node swelling: Rub a small amount of castor oil topically on the lymph nodes as a stimulant. For swelling, repeat several times throughout the day or until swelling subsides.
Cysts and fibroids: Fill a castor oil pack with oil then lay down and place the pack pack oil-side down on one ovary (or area of cysts or fibroid) for 45-60 minutes with the heating pad layered on top.
The frequency of castor oil pack applications may vary depending on your needs. It might take several applications to shrink or remove the cyst effectively.
It is crucial to note that while castor oil packs can help reduce cysts, they may not be suitable for all types of cysts or medical conditions. It is recommended to consult a healthcare professional before using castor oil packs to address your specific situation.
Gut Health: Rub a small amount of warmed castor oil in the belly button before bed.
