Description
Black walnut, the hull specifically, has been used for centuries to treat a wide variety of skin conditions because it contains powerful antimicrobial properties, making it both antibacterial and antifungal.
It’s most famously used for the following:
• Ringworm (fungus not a parasite)
• Fungal infections
• Nail fungus
• Athletes’ foot
• Rashes
• Cuts and scrapes
• Boils and blisters
• Eczema and psoriasis
• Inflammation like sore muscles (due to its astringent properties)
Black walnut hulls are also used for parasite cleansing, because they are high in tannins and contain juglone, a chemical compound that paralyzes and eradicates parasites within the body. Visit here if you want to learn more.
